Winter Festival of Lights Celebrates 35 Years

The Ontario Power Generation Winter Festival of Lights two-month festival kicks off on November 18 to celebrate 35 years of illuminations. The $1.5 million festival includes new enhancements for 2017; Prismatica from Nov 18 – Dec 16 at the Scotiabank Convention Centre featuring 25 prisms which can turn their base; The Passage, an 80-foot long tunnel which changes colours as people walk through it at Queen Victoria Place; Canada 150 display outside the Doubletree Fallsview; The Niagara display, near the Battlefield arch on Lundy’s Lane a cascading waterfalls standing 5-feet tall. Last year the Winter Festival of Lights welcomed over 1.3 million visitors.
