NIA launches Volume 3 of the Engaged in Industry Magazine

For immediate release

November 26, 2020 Niagara, ON (November 26, 2020) – The Niagara Industrial Association (NIA) is pleased to announce the release of the third installment of the magazine, ‘Engaged in Industry’, in print and digital format. This annual, independently sourced magazine gives a platform to small-and-medium sized manufacturing and industrial businesses and highlights their successes and challenges that are unique to Niagara.

Complications arising from the pandemic in mid-production resulted in a pivot of the issues focus towards ‘Labour Solutions and COVID-19 Resilience’, a theme that reflects the tireless efforts of the Association’s members as they adapt to new operational practices, supplier and market dynamics, and public health guidelines in the workplace.

“COVID has been so transformational that we would be remiss not to address its impact in this issue of Engaged, so it has a dual theme: labour solutions and COVID resilience. What comes across in many of our stories is just how intertwined the two topics are. For many businesses we’ve talked to, a strong and dedicated workforce has never been more important,” said Dr. Don Cyr, Chair of the NIA Board of Directors.

The magazine features the latest information on NIA membership and the industrial sector in Niagara including the latest news, projects, member initiatives, and facts. Printed copies are available by request and digital copies are available from download from www.niagaraindustry.com.

The NIA would like to express thanks to the members who contributed content to the magazine this year. Special thanks to Armstrong Strategy Group, 180 Marketing, and McLaren Press for their services and contributions to the magazine.
