NPEI Small Business Credit – COVID-19 Energy Assistance Program - SB

Ontario is currently pursuing options to provide more funding to the Small Business CEAP program. NPEI has been instructed by OEB to continue accepting application forms (for funding on a first come first serve basis).

• Small Business NPEI Customers – eligible for overdue amounts owing from Mar 17, 2020 and may qualify for maximum credit of up to $1,500.

NPEI Residential Credit – COVID-19 Energy Assistance Program (CEAP)

Ontario is currently pursuing options to provide more funding to the Residential CEAP program. NPEI has been instructed by OEB to continue accepting application forms (for funding on a first come first serve basis).

• Residential NPEI Customers – eligible for overdue amounts owing from Mar 17, 2020 and may qualify for maximum credit of $750.

COVID-19 Energy Assistance Program - Small Business

The government of Ontario is currently pursuing options to provide more funding to the Small Business CEAP program. NPEI has been instructed by the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) to continue to accept application forms, with the understanding that these applications will be processed on a first come, first served basis once additional funding amounts are confirmed.

Eligibility Requirements

NPEI customers may be eligible for Small Business CEAP- funding if they meet all the following criteria:

1. As of the date you are applying, your small business or charity has an active account with NPEI as a general service less than 50 kilowatt (kW);
2. As of the date you are applying, your small business or charity has an overdue amount owing from one or more previous electricity bill(s) since March 17, 2020, the date of the initial Provincial Declaration of Emergency

Small Business CEAP Benefit Amounts

NPEI small business customers may qualify for maximum credit of up to $1,500

How to apply:

You may apply for Small Business CEAP the following ways:

• Complete an application form online and submit it directly using the Submit button on the application (If submitting the application is not working, please click here for troubleshooting instructions);
• If you cannot submit the application through the website, download or print the application form, complete it and email it to [email protected];
• If you do not have access to a computer, contact the NPEI office at 1-877-270-3938;
• Your completed application form can be mailed to NPEI (Please note that any mailed applications are subject to delays in mail delivery and may affect your placement in the queue. Applications are reviewed on first-come-first-serve basis).

Small Business CEAP funding is limited. Submitting an application for Small Business CEAP does not guarantee funding.
