The Trade Commissioner Service (TCS) is working with its partners to help Canadian companies connect with global business opportunities.

You don’t need to buy a ticket to Collision from Home to participate in their programming, however, you must be a registered Canadian business with the capacity to export – just apply for meetings using the links in the attachedPDF document or for easy access see links belowbroken into sectors. 1.How to Apply for Virtual Business Meetings with Corp. Buyers and VC’s

In the attached PDF labelled “Global Opportunities” you will see a list of 140+ international business opportunities divided in two categories “Venture Capital” and “Tech Buyers”who are looking to meet with innovative Canadian companies like yours through their B2B Program!

If you want to apply to multiple opportunities, simply go through the application process by clicking on any of the “Click here to apply” links. It will take you to an application form, where you will be asked to answer basic company information and indicate which foreign companies you'd like to meet to pursue their showcased business opportunities. You will also need to answer how your solution/product meets each of the Buyer/VC investor needs in that one application form.

TIP: They suggest keeping the PDF open while applying to the opportunities on simple survey for cross-referencing. The more detailed your answer, the better your chances of getting selected!

The deadline to apply for meetings is June 10, 2020atmidnight EST. Applying to an opportunity does not guarantee a meeting. The foreign buyer or VC have the final say. Only those who are selected for a meeting will be contacted by the TCS via the [email protected] email address by June 20th.
